I have a weird situation with my beloved MBP. Recently the original hard drive failed ( the laptop couldn't boot for a long time and then a folder icon with a question mark was appearing) . The disk utility didn't recognize the drive and I exchanged it with a brand new ssd drive. It booted to recovery mode recognized the drive and started the os installation. Then in the first restart it showed me that dreadful folder icon again. Went to recovery mode recognized the drive and started installing again .
Now it is not recognizing the drive 2 from 3 restarts and os not installed yet.
Need your help with this urgently. Appreciate any information or advice.

Thanks for the advise, I set up the appointment, but since it is a software problem, I thought there is a way to solve it without going there. I managed to install os and the disk utility said the drive is fine and it still does not boot

Just finished Genius Bar appointment, so if someone with the same model is having the same type of problem head straight to the Apple Store and they will fix it for free as there is a known issue with the cable connecting motherboard and the hard drive
