I replaced the bloated battery on my MacBook Pro, now computer won't boot.. what did I do wrong?

replaced bloated battery on MacBook Pro, now computer won't boot...

I recently replaced a bloated battery on my MacBook Pro thinking the computer would still work properly. Unfortunately, the computer will not boot anymore, it turns on and as it's trying to boot, the file with a question mark comes up.

What did I do wrong when changing the battery? Did I mess up the computer without even knowing it?!

Any help would be highly appreciated!

I do not know, but you can either visit the ifixit website and retrace your installation steps or make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them assist in the installation.
