Macbook Pro not recognising LAN
A strange problem has arisen. I've been using the cable internet at my apartment for 6 months without any issue, when suddenly a couple of days ago I just lost the connection. Now when I try to connect it shows that the ethernet is not connected. I've tried different cables and it's the same thing. My wife's notebook works no problem and a friend connected his with no problem. I've taken my macbook to work and a friend's house and it works absolutely fine, so the port isn't the problem. I've tried using an external usb to LAN adapter and that doesn't work either. Anyone have any idea what I need to do?
