2010 13" MBP 2.4 GHZ vs 2013 13" MBPr 2.4 GHZ

Hi everyone. I hope to be upgrading my MBP within a year to two years. The one I have is the base model from 2010 but recently I added more RAM and storage capacity.

My dream is to get the 15" Retina with 2.3 GHZ, but I'll most likely go with the base 13" Retina 2.4 GHZ.

Apart from the Retina Display, is the Retina much faster than the one I have now?

Yes indeed. However, you can add an SSD to your 2010 and it'll make it A LOT faster than even a 7.2K RPM drive.
