I also got mine not long ago, so congrats! it is an outstanding machine. That said, there are a lot of apps out there, it all depends on what you need. But for me a must is an app called "Bartender" to keep your menu bar organized and they let you try for 4 weeks before buying, check it out --> Bartender | Mac Menu Bar Item Control
