Better speaker system on the 13" to match the performance of the 15 and 17" models.

Cheaper SSD options. (yeah right, lol)

Lighter overall feel (to be 100% honest, the retina model feels about as heavy as my early 2011 MBP did and it's much thinner, so i was a bit confused when i upgraded).

A reason to buy a 13" MBP. The 13" is getting long in the tooth. I'm hoping for a redesign to allow for some sort of dedicated GPU.

The cheapER SSD options may be coming... I saw recently that you could get a 960GB SSD for $600. Still pricey, but they are becoming more mainstream, and therefore, more reasonably priced...

SSD pricing has drastically come down, but I guess my tongue in cheek was more on the side of Apple's stock options when buying new from store or online...lol. 960GB on the MBP from Apple would cost...as much as a MBP. :D

Now that the Haswell chips get launched ahead of the Apple conference maybe we'll see the refresh before the fall.
