New MBA 13" for photo editing (LIghtroom 5)

Hi all,

In about three months, I plan to buy my first Mac. My eyes are set on either the standard 2012 MBP 132 or the new MBA 13" (maybe with 8 gb RAM, but only 128 GB SSD)

In terms of managing and editing photos using Adobe Lightroom 5, does anyone see any issues here ? I know more RAM is always good, but would 4 GB be enough ? And is the screen ( no external monitor as of now) good enough on the MBA ?

NB: I know that Apple will probably update the rest of their Macbook line later this year, I'll keep my eyes on that aswell, and finally decide what to buy then

Go for the MBP so that you have enough disk space to store the photos.
