I almost bit the bullet last month and picked up a new air, so glad that I waited. Going to pick up the i7 13 inch model with 8 gigs of ram and 256 gig SSD ... Should be a little screamer with great battery life. I can't wait

I have 8gb ram in my md 2012 MBA & it is sweet. Although i have not complaint about the speed, I'm sure yours will fly with the new chip.
