[TIP]Some of you are running Mountain Lion while others maybe running Snow Leopard or older and there is nothing wrong with that. However, it is possible that some who are not running Mountain Lion may be unaware that they have the necessary specs for it. Feel free to look HERE for the specs needed for Mountain Lion and if you're unsure of your specs, click on the Apple icon in the upper right corner of your screen, Select "About This Mac" and then select "More Info...". Now copy the serial number and then enter it in the "Search Tech Specs" box found HERE. [/TIP]

10.8.3 i am not sure if i like this moutainlion or not. seem like it runs slower to me windows on this site even taking time for the progress bar to move over. i wonder if this sophos anti virus i am using is slowingthings down or could it be google drive or dropbox running that cause it? Anybody on here use sophos or something else or nothing at all?

No anti-virus software here on my MackBook Air.
There is a thread that addresses whether to use an AV software. You might want to search for to get the pros & cons.
