How to connect a new Thunderbolt Display to a 2006 Mac Pro

Has anyone tried to use the (NVIDIA GeForce GT 120) on a "2006 Mac Pro" Model Identifier: MacPro1,1

I am attempting to stretch out the life of my old Mac Pro.
I am trying out different display adapters with my current video card in an attempt to get a new 27" Thunderbolt display to work with this old (MacPro1,1)

Welcome to iMore! I don't have any personal experience with that graphics card but I would be concerned with the Mac Pro not pushing out enough power. I just don't think it has the power, especially when you're running it at the resolution that Thunderbolt Display calls for.
Your Mac Pro is a beautiful computer but it's a decade old.
