Can you view 2 photos side by side in Photos for Mac

How do you view 2 photos side by side in Photos for Mac so you can compare them. In iPhoto, you can do this by selecting the photos and clicking "edit"

Can you not open the second photo in a different screen and then position both screens side by side?
