Will the Thunderbolt Display be getting an update this year?

I'm wanting to get a Thunderbolt Display but I'm wondering if anyone has heard if it will be getting an update to match the thin aesthetics that the imac has. Anyone news?

I haven’t heard/read anything about the Apple Thunderbolt display being updated... but with the new Mac Pro, I would not rule it out... if they do come out with updated models/new designs, expect it later in the fall with the Mac Pro launch and (hopefully) new iMac/MBP updates...

Good point! I wonder if they might even make it a 4k display to match the Mac pro's capabilities.
