OWC SSD Opinion

I'm getting ready to upgrade my 2012 Mac mini with a SSD I'm interested in the OWC 'data doubler' kit but wanted some opinions on their SSDs. Anyone use them?

I've shopped with them for several years now and can't recommend their products enough. They are very reliable on tech support as well if you have issues. Replacing a Mini's 5400 RPM drive with a solid state drive can improve performance dramatically. I'll stand by my theory that a 2012 Mini with OWC upgrades beats the 2014 Minis by a landslide

I agree! I think my 2012 mm will outperform any of the 2014 models when the upgrade is complete!

Just ordered the 240gb data doubler kit for the 2012 MM. Can't wait to get this up and running. I know what a HUGE difference in performance it made with my Mid-2009 MBP!

I am running one in my 2011 Mac Mini with a 120gb SSD main drive and a 240gb SSD data drive. Also updated the ram to 8gb.

It runs great and is so quiet. My soon to be new podcasting rig.
