Would this monitor work well for Mac mini?

I have this Dell monitor I use on a PC. Would it be ok for the Mac mini?

Or is this too low resolution for a Mac?

IIRC OS X's minimum screen resolution requirement is 800x600. You'd have to dig through an antique shop to find a monitor old enough that it only supported 800x600. FWIW I use "only" a 1080p monitor (higher rez than the MBA and MBP) and it is beautiful. It's no retina display but it provides AMPLE workspace.
