Offline Messaging (no internet required)

MegaCon Fan Days is coming up here in Orlando, and the T-Mobile service in the convetion center isn't fantastic. Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent offline IM app?

Firechat seems cool, but seems to require an internet connection, also the most recent update seems to be really unstable.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm missing something. How are you going to send and receive messages without being online? I'm not familiar with any Bluetooth messaging apps.

Most apps of that type either use Bluetooth, Wifi, or mesh networking using one of those technologies.
