Mac Photos App - No Import Process for Aperture Library???

Got the new beta of Photos for Mac... I thought there was going to be an import process for transferring your Aperture library into the new Photos app - but that seems to be missing... Am I missing something?

I've been waiting to move my entire Aperture library and projects into Photos - was under the impression that Apple intentionally would have a way for this. But when I choose Import in Photos, I can browse around, but can not select the Aperture library file.

I have the same issue. When I open photos for mac it doesn't offer to import anything. If I explicitly use the "import" menu item, the aperture libraries are grayed out. Anyone else seen this and know of a solution? The iMore blog post doesn't offer any hints for this situation :-(
