Update new versions?

Because of some problem with My google Play so I often download apk file for pc to install Apps. However, recently I have just realized that Apk file seems not give us update version. So can you give some suggestion for this problem Because I have changed to use Android phone for 1 month and have no comprehensive understanding.

You would have better results asking your question in the Android Central forums Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

APK's from sources other than the Google Play store will often be an older version than the official versions available from GP. They cam also contain malware as they are not policed the same as GP. You would be better to trouble-shoot your GP problems than to risk fishy APK's..
