How does the iPhone 4 handle iOS 7 or 8 vs iOS 6?

Hi,

i have been out of the whole JB and update world for a while now.

i currently have an iphone 4 on ios 6.1 Jailbroken.

i really need to do a restore of some kind (phone is terribly slow), and am wondering if its still possible to restore to 6.1 or 6.1.3 since i heard shsh's dont work anymore.

other options is to upgrade to ios 7 or 8 (in this case i dont mind loosing the JB - mainly needed it on ios 6 for wifi and data quick switches).

so the question is how does the iphone 4 handle ios 7 or 8 vs 6 ?

will appreciate some insight and tips

If I'm not mistaken, the iPhone 4 is not supported by iOS 8, but some of the people who were running it with iOS 7 stated that it ran quite well. Hopefully, some of those members will comment in this thread soon.

iOS 7 will run slower than iOS 6.1 on an iPhone 4.
