What is your current carrier? That bit of info may play into the answer.

There are many unlocking websites you can use on any GSM phone. But iMore doesn't recommend a specific one. No need to jailbreak just to unlock.

Emailed my carrier and since I've had my phone for more than a year on contract, they are unlocking it for free.

This is what I was going to recommend, most carriers will unlock it if you have been a customer for over a year and are in good standing.
