My Verizon iPhone 4S can't find the carrier; it searches before saying "No Service". I've been using the phone on Page Plus for several months.

Earlier today I took my phone apart to replace the power button/proximity sensor cable - it went fine and the phone found the carrier w/o a problem afterwards.

Then I decided to jailbreak the phone. I ran evasi0n but it didn't work (the temporary evasi0n app was still present and there was no Cydia app). So, I restored my iPhone.

After restoring it, it no longer was able to find the carrier. I've restored it twice since then but it still isn't finding it. Did I do something to my phone?

Notify PagePlus and see if they can troubleshoot from their end.

Page Plus is saying I need at least three bars of signal to program the phone, and I'm not receiving any (since it either says "Searching" or "No Service").

Should I try restoring the phone again or something?

Take the sim out. Shut off the phone. Put the sim back in the phone and then restart the phone. If that doesn't work, you can try restoring. Restore from a backup if you have one since there might be a setting that got erased.

Before I read the last post I put it in recovery mode and restored the phone - this did the trick. Now I'm restoring from the backup and it appears to be working just fine. I'll try the jailbreak again once everything is fully restored.
