Does ad blocker work?

For apps? I've tried it and nothing. Works on browser but not in apps like team stream and what not ... And yes I paid for my version.

You're not using the right adblockers. Also, you have to turn some of them on from the settings menu for specific apps.

I turned them on from the apps but what do you mean not the right adblockers?

Which Adblock are you running?
If you didn't add yilliers custom repo you have a dumbed down version.
Also his is kinda weak. You should be running basics Adblock from his repo.
And, you could just use a host file. Which is probably the best way.

im using these. I checked on the repo.yiller repo but I don't see basics there.

Yeah I don't think I had much success with just adblocker? met me look up basics repo?
It's one of those "myrepospace.basic.com" type deals?

I'm using the adblockernetworks app and it works great. It not only blocks ads from most apps, it blocks ads from sites in Safari and whatever other apps you select in settings. I no longer see annoying ads in Facebook either.

I'm pretty sure it's just a host file as opposed to an adblocker, which is why it runs everywhere.
