Basic Question - Do I need to Unlock my Sprint Iphone 4 to sell it?

I am upgrading my son's Iphone 4 and want to sell it. Can someone else use it on the Sprint network (current network) without me unlocking it or should I unlock it it first and how to I go about doing that?
I read alot of the threads here first and did not see this subject but if I missed it sorry.

The buyer would need to be a Sprint customer... there is nothing really that can be 'unlocked' on a Sprint iPhone4 anyway...

Right so other than wiping all my info off the phone the next sprint buy could just call sprint to activate?
