My Jailbroken iPhone 4 freezes & becomes completely unresponsive.

iMore Question

On random occasions, my trust iPod 4th gen decides to freeze. After about 2 minutes of being completely unresponsive, the screen turns white and remains white until the battery is dead. After that, i plug it in and it boots up normally and acts as if nothing had happened. This has happened about 3 times. What caused this? Is it fixable and if so how? Did i fry the internals of my iPod? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time, Annamous

A corrupted setting, maybe? I don't know, but I will move this thread to the jailbreak section.

Check all apps that you downloaded recently. Could be a compatibility issue that is causing this problem.

an app or a cydia package?

Could be either or. If you downloaded something from Cydia that isn't compatible with your iOS version or another App perhaps, it could cause your iPhone to freeze up or crash to the Apple logo. I would put your iPhone 4 in to safe mode and go through any recent downloads. Removing them one at a time until you find the one that is causing this to happen.
