Hosts file help

I want to use TinyUmbrella to restore my iPhone and I need to change the hosts file after googling it so I need to know:
?Where is the file located (Windows XP)
?What do I need to change so it works with TU for a restore
?What do I need to change so future restores are verified with Apple and not TU

it should be something like C: \Windows\system32\drivers\etc folder... open that in notepad... put a hash-tag (aka pound sign) in front of any entries with apple in them... save the hosts file... reboot computer.
