Update without restore?

Hi. My phone is Jailbroken on 6.1.2. I would like to upgrade to the latest version of the software and I would also like to lose my jailbreak in the process.

Is it possible to simply upgrade, or should I restore my phone from scratch?

Yeah you can upgrade just do a backup.

if you're wanting a truly "clean" install i would restore as new. there is a possibility you could put a corrupt file, due to your current jailbreak, back onto your device via backup

also, peace of mind can go a long way
