This should be a hugely popular feature for Bite: it's confirmed they're bringing Facebook inspired Chat Head functionality to the Bite app.

Meh....I'm one of the very few who don't have or use FB so it's not that big a deal for me. Just my $0.02

I think you misunderstood; this is for BiteSMS. I don't use fb either. This just takes the idea of Chat Heads and transfers it to SMS.

Well, color me disappointed. This seems to be nothing more than a quick compose widget. I think using the name Text Heads was a big mistake in a week when everyone is excited about Chat Heads.

I don't disagree. Now perhaps there will be functionality that we don't know about yet. I sure hope so, but for now this is all that I know.

Looks EXACTLY like "Favorite Contacts" tweak from Cydia. Will be no use for me

Could you clarify? Is it not showing up under notifications? Do you have favorites defined in the phone app that you are currently texting?
