Factory Unlocked Verizon Iphone 5 HSPA+

Can anyone here confirm if the Tmobile carrier update gives HSPA+ speeds? My wife has not received her update yet and she's hoping it will because she hates that mostly everywhere she goes she only has EDGE speeds. Thanks for any info.

have you read through THIS thread? It doesn't speak in regard to HSPA+ but it does reference a carrier update in regard to the iPhone 5 & T-mobile.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I did read that thread which is why I created this one in hopes that someone can confirm hspa+ on this iPhone 5. I've been searching around on other forums but all I've found is that they get the 4g indicator not if they are getting better coverage and better speeds.
