I have a question im already jailbroken on 6.1 so when i want to upgrade to 6.1.2 i have to upgrade to that os set up as new and then rejailbreak but before i do all that can i back up my phone now and then once i jailbreak and its done can i restore from that back up to get my regular apple apps back that i had on here? Or how does that work? Annnd after upgrading to 6.1.2 do i need to save the shsh blobs for that or is the one i have from 6.1 ok? Im confused on what i should do and the process. Could any one explain please?

You should open iTunes and make sure All your apps and music and whatever else are all configured the way you want. (with what will sync and stuff)
Then you should transfer all purchases.
Then you should backup if you want to save your text threads
Then restore as new.
You will end up on latest firmware.
Then if you want to get your text threads back, restore from backup.
Then sync your phone.
Then jailbreak.
Then reinstall all your cydia stuff
