How will evad3rs package the JB?

Does anyone know if evad3rs will release the jailbreak as an updated redsn0w or will we get a standalone tool similar to Absinthe? My main concern is over redsn0w's additional functionality.

When Absinthe released the 5.1.1 JB for the 4s it was in a zip file. It'll probably have everything you need in it.

I don't doubt it will jailbreak my device. I was thinking more of hacktivation, SHSH blob management, custom IPSW creation, etc, etc.

Even when a standalone tool is released, aren't the exploits usually integrated into redsn0w at some point? Or am I remembering that wrong?

i gotta go with it being a standalone tool... the "dev team" isnt exactly functioning as a cohesive unit lately...
so i gotta figure pod2g created a new tool.
maybe it will be called "evasion"
but it will definitely end up in redsnow 16

Yeah, I suspect it will be a standalone tool as well. Which is a shame for those who rely on a hacktivation. They'll have to wait an extra month or so before redsn0w gets an update. The silver lining is that a dev might make an untether tool similar to Rocky Raccoon. We'll see...

My guess is four-fold:

They will release a Cydia package for those people on a tethered jailbreak.

They will release a command-line tool like normal.

There will be a cutesy-named standalone app like greenp0ison or absinthe, and lastly redsn0w which won't be too far behind.
