Buying right out?

Hello.
I work for Wal-Mart and want an Iphone 5 to unlock and use on Straight Talk.
To my knowledge, I can buy a phone from Wal-Mart for $700 and use my 10% discount. So after taxes and discount were looking at $674 out the door. About $30 cheaper than buying from Apple Unlocked.

So can i take my new device to an AT&T store, get them to unlock it, cut my ST sim card, update me APN settings and I should be good to go?

You don't need to get AT&T involved if you buy a factory unlocked phone.

I was under the impression that Walmart only sold 16fb phones locked to either cartoon or AT&T under contract....
You sure you can even buy one at full price?
Also AT&T has no real incentive to unlock your phone, so it might be a bit of a hassle....

as long as best buy has it advertised, walmart will price match it.

In Kennesaw, GA and surrounding areas, BestBuy are selling the iPhone 5 for $ 649.99 off contract. I believe it was all part of the Christmas \ New Year deals. And like I said earlier, I only bought my iPhone 5 off contract from BestBuy week before last (since today is Sunday and thus a new week)
