Hello-

My wife's jailbroken iPhone 4S on 5.1.1 was freezing at the lock screen. So, I had to upgrade to IOS 6 in order to get it to work.

But now the phone is turning off on it's own. We have an Apple Care appointment for tech support tomorrow. Now that it's upgraded to IOS 6 will they be able to tell that it was jailbroken?

Thanks!
Eric

Just restore as new before you bring it in.
They won't have a clue.
Also it will fix all your problems.
Hope you didn't like the jailbreak

After I upgraded I did go back and do a reset using "erase all content and settings"
We like the jailbreak, love MyWi.
Hopefully IOS 6 will see a jailbreak :)

Well just to be safe I would do a restore as new using iTunes

I did the iTunes reset first, then the erase all content and settings second.

Took it in yesterday and received a new phone. They said the old one had a defective battery, which is why it kept turning off on it's own.

Thanks again!

only a few months or so until a universal jailbreak again, so keep your ears to the ground
