Iphone 4 restore fail error -1

Bought an iphone 4 that had 4.2.1 ios on it. I tried to restore it so I can unlock the iphone, had couple error 3194, took care of that. Then when I finally got everything going, half way through the restore process, it popped up with error -1 and the iphone screen was all black. Now the phone wont boot, reset or anything. Any idea on how to fix it?
