Just got an Iphone 4 with 4.2.1 firmware, which firmware should I upgrade to before jailbreaking it?

Stay on 4.2.1 unless you can put up with a tethered jailbreak. If you're not sure what a tethered jailbreak means, definitely stay on 4.2.1.

Then just grab redsn0w 0.9.6b5 from the web and jailbreak.

Thanks, jailbreak couple ipad and Iphone 3 before. Didn't have much time to research it for the Iphone 4 so I appreciate the quick response.
