That was an a-hole move and above that the message was a cop out for the real reason behind it. The whole point was probably to make money off the visitors to the site most likely and then they put up this lame "I wanted to teach you a lesson" crap.

I wasn't going to use it if it was real anyway there is something in using a tool from proven sources. We don't know who the hell this guy is and the fact that the method was using an exploit means you don't know what the hell the tool would have been programmed to do. I was gonna stick it out until the Dev-Team came up with something why because after 5 years I know they wouldn't use the exploit in a malicious way.
