Erase all content & settings on original iPhone

I came across my old original iPhone that I want to pass along to my mom to use just for telephone calls. She does not text or use data. The iPhone is unlocked for use on t-mobile. I have a ton of pictures, games, texts, etc. still on the phone. I want to clear all this off of the hone before I give it to my mom. If I "erase all content & settings" will I lose the jailbreak on the phone? I want to keep the jailbreak for her ability to use it on tmobile.

[rant]For the sake of all that is techy in universe, do a little research before posting! In the time you've spent posting, you could've found the answer. Plus, each time we rehash the same question over and over again takes our time so people in real trouble might not get proper help.[/rant]

Here's what I posted on another thread a few days ago:
When jailbroken don't ever, ever, EVER (did I mention ever??) erase all contents and settings. This will throw your phone in a respring loop and you'll be forced to restore through iTunes.
