ok so i have a iphone 3gs tetherd i go all the way through the jailbreak redsnow says its done then all the black writing comes up on the iphone then it reboots but then when it reboots there is no cydia on my springboard can someone tell me why?

What iOS do u have? What version of redsn0w did u use?

i had the latest ios i just updated with itunes before i went on redsnow and i also have the latest version of redsnow aswell

You need to reboot it tethered as the final step.

the phone auto reboots and starts tho do i leave it to start turn off then boot tethered or what

i guess not cos i just tryed and my phone when rebooting just went to a black screen

Yeah you need to reboot tethered.
Turn phone on, then plug it in to computer. Then turn phone off and start up redsnow, navigate to the just boot tethered and follow directions from there...
