Jailbreak gone wrong

Hi everyone I tried to jailbreak my iPod touch 3gen using red snow but half way through my iPod just went blank just as if the battery is dead and it won't turn on, and every time I try and connect it to my computer to try
And restore it says USB device not recognised can any one please tell me how tofix this please

best advice i can give you is to try doing a DFU reset. By 1. plugging it up (even when it says no usb connected), 2. holding the lock/power button as well as the home button for about 10 seconds. 3. release the power button but keep holding the home button.

This should put it into the complete restore mode and should override whatever has messed up. You will lose all data on your phone but if you backed it up prior to attempting to jailbreak you should be fine.
