Will 6.0.1 make the JB time longer?

I have 6.0 right now and ofcourse we all know there won't be a jailbreak until probably Q1 for A5 devices. But if I install 6.0.1 will I be digging a deeper hole for the opportunity to jailbreak? Or if/when a new jailbreak comes out, will it be covering 6.x.x in general?

The devs don't usually "waste" exploits. So in my opinion (nothing more, I'm just some dude) you will be fine going to 6.0.1. When they jailbroke ios5 for everyone (the untethered, REAL jailbreak) it was for 5.0.1, and not 5.0
And then the big break came for ALL DEVICES was the rocky raccoon which covered 5.1.1
So I'd say enjoy 6.0.1 but again, JUST MY OPINION!!!
I don't want you suing me for my Internet bucks if the job is for 6.0 only!!!!

They push it when they can figure out how to do it
no,
they push it when it is most beneficial to all.
last year pod2g had a public ready untethered jb for ios5.0 for a4 devices but most of the other devs convinced him not to release it because apple would just patch it up and it would be a small number of people/devices who would be able to take advantage.

Reason why I say 6.1 update is because they do not want to burn their exploits. They want to keep that jailbreak out when iOS 6 is not going to be updated again. It would be easier for Apple to patch a jailbreak on 6.2 then let's say 6.1.1
