removing content from iphone 3gs with ipad baseband

Hi

I have an iphone 3gs which im giving to a family member. It has the ipad baseband and i want to remove all content from the phone- is this possible to do without a factory reset? Can anyone explain how to do it? As i have no clue and cant find it anywhere online!!

I would just go and erase everything all apps tweaks etc and logout of everything in the settings then go to setting general and restore network and restore home screen layout

Or you can just do a restore with a custom ipsw
