Default Jailbreak issue, respringing every 5 seconds.

Hey, so i plugged my phone in last night, and when I woke up this morning my phone was really hot, and respringing every 5 seconds. It would go to the unlock screen, 5 seconds later, it would respring.

I dont have enough time to turn the phone off, or do a reset because the phone resprings and cancels those commands.

I let the phone die, and I plugged it back in, and its doing the same thing.

I dont know what to do, i believe i am on iOS 5.0, oh and I am using a tethered jailbreak. So currently my phone lost its jailbreak, and i need to boot it back up (but i cant).lol

I appreciate any help or advice.

    Thank you

I would connect your iPhone to iTunes and restore it, then when it is back to stock you can rejailbreak it again. There is a stable untethered JB available for iOS 5.1.1 that you can try. It sounds like something that you installed from Cydia may have caused this.

This happened to me and I'm sure a simple reset hold the home and sleep button sorted it.

I suggest restoring, then updating to iOS 5.1.1.Also be careful when installing tweaks from Cydia, they might not be compatible with your iOS version.

just hold the volume keys when the phone trys to restart,
it will start in safe mode
then uninstall some of the tweaks you have on there...
why does everyone push for a restore so quickly???

True but personally I would restore update and re-jailbreak untethered. And that's the key untethered.

My first thing would be to start in safe mode. Then in SBSettings turn off all your mobile substrate tweaks. Add them back until things get funky and you have your cause.
