iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak not working..
So I've followed the directions exactly.
After backing up, and saving my SHSH Blobs, I opened Absinthe 2.0 and hit the jailbreak button. I waited for a few minutes and it told me this: "ERROR could not connect to lockdownd"
I'm just wondering what lockdownd is.
Should I just keep trying?
Update: I downloaded the updated Absinthe 2.0.1 to see if that would work better.

Jailbreak with this and it will be tethered and once jailbroken we install an un-tether package from Cydia.

One you have applied the tethered jailbreak and Cydia is installed. Go into Cydia and search for Rocky Raccoon, this is the un-tether package.
Check your phone re boots and now your phone shold be un-tethered.
Just to be clear, when you are tethered jailbroken, you need to use Redsnow extras every time to boot your phone until you install Rocky Raccoon untethered package.
Private message me if you get stuck.

I was having problems too and kch50428 suggested me to do the following:
"Got a 'new' ipsw to use for the restore here: Download 5.1.1 iOS Firwmare – iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad [Direct Links] — Jailbreak 5.1.1 5.1, 5.0.1 iPhone 4S iPad 2 Untethered Jailbreak 5.1.1, 5.1, 5.0.1, 5.0 iPhone 4S / iPad 2 Untethered (http://jailbreakhow.net/download-5.1.1/)-- and in iTunes on mac - held 'option' button and clicked restore - navigated to the 'new' ipsw - activated/set up as new, ran the jailbreak fine."
PS: If you are on Windows, in iTunes press SHIFT along with Restore so you can navigate to the 'new' IPSW.

Anyone know how long it should take? I have a Verizon iPhone 4 and a Mac with lion. I don't have any error messages, but the progress bar on absinthe 2.0.1 has been in the same place for almost 15 minutes. Is this normal?
