OK, I admit this is an odd one:

I'm trying to connect my iPhone to my laptop's speakers... wirelessly. Both devices are on the same network, so that's the intended method of connection. The speakers themselves are nothing special - no Bluetooth or WiFi capability, straight up 3.5mm audio jack.

On the desktop side I've managed to share USB ports between laptops so I know there must be a way to connect the speakers to the phone.

Any desktop/server and jailbreak app recommendations?

I don't think this is possible without some SERIOUS hacking. How are the speakers plugged in to the computer, couldn't you just plug them right in to the ipod? OR better yet, couldn't you let itunes read the music off the iphone, and play it on the computer's speaker's? Why do throught all the trouble to make a more direct connection? Itunes can treat the iphone like it's an ipod, and play the songs on it, like it would on any mp3 or thumb drive.
