Phone number shows as "unknown" in settings, I need help

Okay, so my iPhone 4 is unlocked on iOs 5.0.1 and in the phone settings my number shows up as "unknown"

I thought it was a Sim card issue since my AT&T card that I use to activate the phone has no issue with showing the number.

When I used a T-Mobile micro sim, it didn't pop up. I got another sim from T-Mobile and it still didn't pop up.

I tried deactivating the phone, but that didn't work either.


I have service and everything but FaceTime and iMessage don't work.


Does anyone know of a possible fix?

Update:

Okay, so the number showed up randomly, then I lost service in an area 2 days ago and it still hasn't pop back up.

Has anyone else at least had this issue with T-Mobile?

The only time I had an issue with unknown number, it was caused by my service provider (Verizon) blocking my account due to the fact that my account didn't show a proper "upgrade" so they blocked the phone from working.... Doesn't sound similar to your issue, but a possibility
