Jailbreaking for Charity: Need Advice
My son is a Peace Corps volunteer in South Africa. They're trying to set up a backpackable typing lab to help his village. (You can see a description of the whole project here:
The project is based on getting donated or used iPod touch devices and pairing them with bluetooth keyboards. The cheapest iPod touches we can get used or most likely to be donated are the 3rd generation 8GB. Unfortunately, they only go to iOS 4.2.1 and don't link with bluetooth keyboards (as far as I can tell).
Does anyone know if I can jailbreak them and get them to talk to a Bluetooth keyboard? My Logitech Tablet keyboard works beautifully with my iphone 4s. It would be PERFECT for this application if I can get it to work.
If so, how? Instructions?
I've acquired one Touch so far, but it's a 3G 8 GB, so hasn't paired.
Any help would be most welcome.
