Changed my number now stuck with no unlock!

I'm in uk. Been out the game for a while. Just changed my number to a giffgaff sim card and realised I'm on 04.11.08 on my iphone 4. Now stuck with a phone not able to make Calls. What can I do? Will it actualy ever be unlocked. Cheers guys.

Nothing.. find someone with a lower base band to trade devices with or sell it and buy a different one? 04.11.08 can't be unlocked.. nor is anyone actively working on an unlock for it, nor can the baseband be downgraded. Sorry.
