Possible to hide pop up messages while unlocked (biteSMS)

I'm using biteSMS and trying to figure out if it's possible to have messages pop up in the notification banner and not in an obtrusive pop up message box.

Sure is dude... In bite, go to setting then go to quick reply an there is an option to use apple messages notification method, which is the banner. Further down the list there is a similar option for the lock screen.
