Jailbreak button greyed out

So I've downloaded absinthe and can't seem to get it completely running. I've restarted both the iphone and the computer to see if that would fix the solution to no avail. It's telling me to plug the iPhone in but doesn't seem to recognize when I do this. The computer is recognizing it as it is asking me how it wants to view the photos. Any ideas?

Install iTunes

You don't have iTunes installed. You need its Apple Mobile Device Driver for Windows to recognize it as an iPhone so Absinthe sees it. You don't need to start iTunes, just install it.

And if you do have iTunes installed then make sure the box for "Encrypt backup" is unchecked.
