Help Please

I have an I phone 4 and want to jailbreak for more applications, and am currently on version 5.0.1. I am looking for very simple instructions on how this can be done. I have read the forums but just do not understand what I have to do. Is there any one who can take the time to lead me step by step on what to download to where and the rest of the procedure. From what I can understand I want untethered but then again I'm not sure it can be done yet. Please help.
