IFaith + old iOS build = ?

Today I played around with iFaith and my old iPhone which is on iOS 4.1. I was very surprised when I iFaith managed to grab the blobs for a firmware that Apple hasn't been signing for months. I did have my blobs saved with Cydia, but iFaith was digging in the phone to get the blobs, it didn't contact Cydia.

My question is: will that work for iOS 5.0.0 users? Has anyone tried it?

Ifaith pulls whatever sh blob you have on your device and "signs" it... I have a "signed" 5.0 blob I made last week...

Yup. I created a 5.0.0 blob "signed" that I did a week or so ago.
