I want to get rid of my jailbreak because I need to swap out my phone with Apple due to a faulty home button. What is the proper way to get all the jailbreak tweaks off my phone and how do I restore to stock? Can I just do an OTA upgrade to 5.0.1 or do I need to restore from backup on iTunes? Please help me. Thanks!

Do a sync with a backup first and then restore the iPhone you're returning. When you plug in your new iPhone you can restore from a backup and get all your info back. The only thing missing will be your jailbreak.

When I try to restore it, I get an error message saying "The iPhone could not be restored. This device isnt eligible for the requested build." whenever iTunes verifies the restore with Apple. What do i do? I have iOS 5.0 What am I doing wrong?

UPDATE: I was able to restore by unchecking a box in TinyUmbrella... something about Cydia.... Whew!
